Our legendary Halloween UV Party is back for another spooktackular year! Expect a whole new set of glow-in-the-dark climbs, Halloween-themed challenges, a live DJ, and tasty pizza & drink specials to keep you going all night. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed, so bring your creepiest glow in the dark look! This event usually sells out fast, so secure your spot early and join us for a night of climbing, music, and Halloween thrills. Participants must be 14+ years to attend. Under 18s must be supervised by an adult or have completed a 14-17 assessment.
Single and ready to mingle? Haystack is taking over Substation for a climbing date night! Using their unique technology, all participants will be matched into like-minded groups before getting stuck into some climbing, drinks and well... who knows what else?! Arrive for 6pm, climbing runs from around 7:30 to 9:30pm, but the night doesn’t stop there. Afterwards, we’ll head into Substation’s café-bar for a proper social. We’ve brought in a DJ to set the vibe, so you can grab a drink and enjoy the eve. Tickets are purchasable through Fatsoma – click the link to get your ticket!
Want to improve your strength and endurance? Join our coaches on the woody boards upstairs on Friday evenings, 7-9pm. Learn how to set your own routes and project routes set by others as a small group. No need to book, just turn up! Free with a day pass or membership.
Guided by one of our experienced coaches, this fun social is a great opportunity to project routes with new friends and pick-up tips from all experience levels every Thursday, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Sublime Bouldering League is a fun, self-scoring competition for all abilities. There will be four rounds, with 15 climbs per round for you to try! Record your scores using the score cards provided at the front desk. The top six men and women will battle it out in a spectacular spotlight finals on Saturday 22 November. Entry is £6 per round or £20 for all four. Round 1 25 Sept – 15 Oct; Round 2 16 Oct–5 Nov; Round 3 6–21 Nov; Round 4 & Finals 22 Nov! Get your tickets at the desk.

Join us for an evening of Live music, pints, pizzas and games to celebrate the opening of our new improved outdoor space! Expect a live acoustic set from Myles Crossley, followed by games and antics hosted by your favourite quizmaster, Peri. No booking required, it's free! Friday 18th July, 5-10pm.
Get ready for Subatomic; an explosive climbing event packed with whacky climbs, zip lines and challenges like you've never seen before. Expect a high energy evening of climbing with live DJ, pizzas and pints, from 5–10 PM! Due to the unconventional nature of the climbs, this event is 18+ only.
Join us for a festive pub quiz on Thursday 12th December, 8-10pm in the Gritstone cafe. Hosted by Peri the legend, expect all the usual pub quiz antics with some festive surprises. Team up in groups of 3-6 for your chance to win festive prizes and the weekly cash jackpot! Members get a free glass of mulled wine or non-alcoholic hot drink. We have limited tables so be sure to grab a seat early, it will be first come first serve.
Sublime Bouldering League finalists will battle it out to win £3000 in cash prizes on November 29th, 7-10pm. Sublime qualifying rounds are now closed. Join us for the finals as a spectator and soak up the atmosphere as the top 5 qualifiers from each category fight for first place (£1000 cash)! Expect inspirational climbing, delicious pizza and crispy cold pints starting from 7pm.
This 90 minute Womens Circle is a supportive and empowering space for women to come together, share experiences and learn from each other. You will be invited to explore topics like Belonging and Connection- beginning with a mindful grounding practice, followed by a guided conversation that will encouraging participants to delve deeper into themselves and the shared theme. There will be a maximum of 10 participants to keep the experience intimate. All ticket proceeds are being donated to CHOOSE LOVE to support their ongoing efforts in Gaza and Palestine.
