Cafe Team Member

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and adaptable Team Member to join our Gritstone team at Substation. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) focused on delivering great coffee, food, and customer experience in a busy, welcoming environment.

The role will be split between:

• Barista & Customer Service:

Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and drinks, greeting guests, taking orders, handling enquiries, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

• Food Service & Prep:

Preparing and serving simple food items, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring the kitchen and service areas run efficiently.

• Front of House & Cleaning:

Keeping the café and shared spaces clean, safe, and well-presented at all times, including clearing tables, restocking, and supporting general day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
• Experience as a barista and/or in hospitality or food service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help across all areas
• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Reliable and punctual
